Overview

Your primary care provider is your first contact and resource when it comes to taking care of your health. All of our adult primary care providers are internal medicine or family practice specialists who work collaboratively with a team of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and clinical assistants to cover your personal health concerns. All the members of our primary care team stress prevention and education while providing a full range of services for students, employees, faculty, and family members that includes:

Diagnosis and treatment of sickness or injuries
Vaccines and immunizations
Routine physicals and check-ups including gynecologic care
Management of acute and chronic conditions
Health evaluations and screenings
Wellness promotion through exercise, nutrition and stress management

Making an Appointment

Call your primary care provider’s office directly to make an appointment. If you don't have a primary care provider, please call MIT Medical's main number at 617-253-4481, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and they will help you make an appointment. If you require TTY service, please use 617-258-0656.

Primary care providers are available to anyone who's eligible for MIT Medical services. Adolescent primary care providers are available to young people, typically under the age of 25.
