Overview

Our Dermatology Service cares for acute and chronic skin conditions, checks for skin cancers, and educates patients on skin care and sun protection strategies.

Specifically, our services include:

Annual skin checks for skin cancer
Skin checks for individuals at risk for developing skin cancer
Urgent visits for acute problems
Diagnosis and management of non-urgent skin problems
Ongoing care for chronic skin conditions
Biopsies of skin lesions (under local anesthetic)
Treatment of skin lesions using cryotherapy, electrocautery, curettage, incision and drainage, excision, and extraction
Ultraviolet phototherapy
Coordination of outside services
